  1. I saw this story...I really hope you aggressively pursue legal action against not only the school but the bully's family as well. I wouldn't trust that the school will even punish him at all. I hope the story on the news turns into a grassroots effort to rid that school of incompetent leadership. Maybe even a Facebook campaign. Good luck to you and your daughter!

  2. This is atrocious - 1st the physical and mental injuries to Morgan, then the abysmal response by supposedly responsible adults (principal, nurse, police)who should be giving their full support to your daughter and seeing justice done to the perpetrators. Surely there must be an organized response taken by responsible parents of your daughter's normal classmates, who probably make up the vast majority of the student body. Since local authority is proving irresponsible, the leader of our State - the Governor - needs to get involved and direct the AG, State Police, medical board to investigate. Meanwhile, to Morgan - please know that most people commiserate with you - be strong, be forthright for your right to live without fear and to see justice done to the criminals.

  3. You have probably received countless stories from parents of attacks/assaults, etc that their children have incurred during school hours or on school grounds--that there are that many people that can come forward with similar accounts--tragic!!!
I am sorry for you and the helpless state you must feel that you are in, but you've come forward and made it public--they have to answer to someone other than yourself---just don't give up until you feel that justice has been served. There will be many behind you. These acts are intolerable. If we can not believe that our children will be protected from this behavior, or that those who conduct themselves in this manner will not be allowed to continue their stay at these schools--no, this can not be tolerated! We must push---and continue to do so until those that "have others to speak to" no longer have that job----if he feels that he is so tapped, that he is too busy to see to his job--make it easier for him! I have been there and it was a battle; but, I won. My daughter has a true sense of empowerment, instead of being a victim, and it was worth every minute spent! Push the superintendent. This is his job--make him do it!
